The Process

It all begins with an idea and the willingness to create something special.

I take considerable pride in my working relationships and seek to make our collaboration fun. Most projects will follow a timeline that allows room for ideation, style exploration, strategy, production, and concept realization.

I am available for creative consultation, art direction, bespoke branding, packaging, book/magazine layout design, editorial writing, copyediting, and website design projects.

01. Reach out

In your message please include the following:

  • Name of your company or project (with links to any website or social media)

  • What are you wanting to create?

  • What is the scope of the project?

  • Your suggested timeline for completion.

  • Your suggested budget.

  • Contact information.

I’ll review all the information and follow up with you in a timely manner.

02. Contract and Deposit

Once we have both determined if we are a good fit together, we will define the scope and deadlines. We will make it official with a contract and you will make your deposit payment. The deposit will be calculated based on the projected service timeline.

03. Coordination Meeting

A telephone, video conference, or in-person meeting will occur to determine the finer details of the project plan and overall strategy. We will discuss the requirements of the project, determine milestones, and construct a deliverable timeline.

04. Design and Refine

The next step is applying the research to drafts and prototypes. A design concept will be developed and a presentation will follow. A discussion between stakeholders and the designer will determine any areas of opportunity and any refining that might be necessary.

A design that you love, can take pride in, and feel like you’ve contributed to is my ultimate goal.

05. Project Delivery

Once the opportunity to provide feedback and request changes has concluded, I will provide a final version created on the basis of your input and all ownership will be transferred to you.
