PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Arbutus Club has become one of the most prestigious and finest private member clubs in Western Canada. With first class dining experiences, including a fine dining restaurant and banquet rooms for events, the members of the Club are no stranger to enjoying a full-bodied glass of wine with meals and meetings. The Food & Beverage department wished to satiate the palate of the membership with an exclusive, Okanagan red wine. 

While the budget for the design was not large, the label needed to elegantly reverberate the fruity, balanced, and soft notes of the wine, while fitting into the brand identity of The Arbutus Club.

PROCESS

Drawing upon the established branding of The Arbutus Club, the Communications team agreed that the wine bottle needed to fit comfortably within the existing club marketing collateral. With a slight twist on the colour palette, I used rich colours that would mirror the softness of the tannins and the bright fruit notes and typographic pairings that would complement the existing Club logo.
